Annie L. Jones January 01, 1952 – December 22, 2018 Share this obituary Local Florists View/Sign Guest Book WATERBURY Annie L. Jones “Loving Mother, Grandmother & Sister” Ms. Annie L. Jones, 66, of Waterbury, entered into the Gates of Heaven on Saturday, December 22, 2018, with her loving family by her side, at the VITAS Inpatient Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital. Annie was born in Oak City, NC on January 1, 1952, daughter of the late Arguster Percy and Helen (Williams) Jones. Annie was employed at United Technologies Corporation in Cheshire for over 35 years, until the time of her illness.

Annie was an avid Bingo player, but loved the time she spent with her family and grandchildren. She leaves her two sons, Rubin Jones and Jamar Jones and his wife, Lacorya, all of Waterbury, six grandchildren, Kelanii, Keshaiaa, Nijea, Jalaisha, Dylon & Ranisha Jones, her brothers, Arguster Jones, Jr. (and wife, Alicia), Alton, Joseph (and wife, Alma), McKinley and Paul Jones, all of Waterbury; her sisters, Jannie Whitt and Helen Diane Jones, both of Tallahassee, FL. , Linda Jones, Hazel Moore (and husband, Vince), Madelyn and Ada Jones, all of Waterbury, also nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving family and friends.

She was predeceased by brothers, William Earl and David Jones, and sisters, Carrie Bundy Jones and Alice Ruth Flemming. Arrangements: A Funeral Service will be held for Annie on Saturday, December 29, 2018, 11 a.m. at the Redeeming Love Tabernacle of Praise Church, 34 Bishop Street, Waterbury. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

A calling hour will be held Saturday, from 10 a.m. till the time of the Service at the Church. Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury has been entrusted with Annie’s services.
