Annie M Sadler November 25, 1946 – December 30, 2018 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences Annie Mildred Sadler Bryan was the first child born to the union of George, Sr. and Ruby Sadler. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Jerusalem Baptist Church. She was the church secretary and enjoyed writing speeches for herself as well as others.

Mildred’s education started at the Shades Valley School where Mrs. Sadie Bradford and Mrs. Mary King Jenkins were her teachers. Due to the closing of Shades Valley School she completed her education at Brighton High School in 1965. She furthered her education at Lawson State Community College Birmingham Alabama and Berkeley College, New York, NY.

Mildred loved people and enjoyed helping others, her career led her to a variety of fields, Ma Bell, AT&T, Delta Airlines, Chase Manhattan Bank, Bryan Liquor (owner) and the job she was most proud of was Housing Development Fund Corporation as Office Manager. Mildred was called to rest on December 30, 2018 after a short illness. Gone before her: husband, Harold Bryan; parents, George, Sr. and Ruby Sadler; brothers, Tony, Steve and Rickey Sadler; sisters-in-law, Linda and Cathy Sadler; nephew, Antonio Moss, Sr.; and niece, Desiree Sadler.

She leaves to cherish her memories: sisters, Alice Foster of New York, Mechelle Sadler Moss (Andray) of Bessemer, AL, and Lenora Sadler Johnson (Daryl) of Birmingham, AL; brothers, George, Jr. (Gwen) Brighton, AL, and Glenn of Birmingham, AL; aunt, Willie Mae Ramsey; special cousins, Betty Boney and Debbie Baily, New York; twelve nieces and nephews; twelve great nieces and great nephews; five godchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
