Obituary for Annis Arant Mrs. Annis Arant, age 89, of Benton, Kentucky (Hardin Community) died at 6:15am Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Arant was born July 2, 1929 to the late Latus and Jewell Lamb York. She was a member of the Hardin Baptist Church for 60 years and Woodmen of the World (Benton).
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ted Arant; brothers, Alvin York, Neal York, Jerry York, and Dan York; sisters, Lena Darnell and Shirley Thompson. She is survived by her sons, Marty Don Arant (Becky), Benton and Michael Arant, Benton; two granddaughters, Brittany Gibbs (Eric), Sacaton, AZ and Brandi Edwards (Tyler), Benton; and seven great grandchildren. The funeral service will be at 2:00pm Sunday, April 15, 2018 at the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home with Rev.
Ricky Cunningham and Rev. Trad York officiating. Burial will be in Murray Memorial Gardens and friends may visit the family from 4:00pm to 8:00pm Saturday at the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home.
