Obituary for Anthony Alvarado Anthony Alvarado, 32, beloved son of Cecilia “Chin” Gonzalez, died Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico on July 23, 1986. Anthony enjoyed watching television, listening to the radio and playing games in his laptop.

Besides his loving mother, he is survived by his two brothers; Gil Alvarado and Pedro “Peter” Alvarado, a sister, Jessica Alvarado, a niece, Gilianys Alvarado and a nephew, Adam Alvarado. He is also survived by four aunts; Carmen Gonzalez, Maritza Gonzalez, Elba Gonzalez and Elsa Gonzalez, two uncles; Victor Gonzalez and Juan Gonzales, many cousins and friends. He was pre-deceased by his maternal grandmother, Ana Velazquez.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main St., Meriden, CT. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday morning prior to the service from 9 to 12:00 p.m. Per family’s request, No photos are to be taken and No use of cell phones.
