Obituary for Arlie Travles ” Bo” Hunt Mr. Arlie Travles “Bo” Hunt, 74, of Rome died Friday morning, December 21, 2018 at his residence following a long illness. A native of Ft. Payne, Alabama Mr. Hunt was born March 29, 1944 son of the late Orbie Willie Hunt and Ether Evelene Hunt.

He retired from Inland Rome as an electrical instrument technician in 2008 and was an avid gun collector. He enjoyed clay shooting and target practice and was a member of the Floyd County Wildlife Association for many years, a life member since 2011 and served on the Board of Directors for over 20 years. Mr. Hunt enjoyed sitting on the porch at the club drinking coffee and chatting with friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Orbie W. and Evelene Hunt, a wife Judy Hawkins-Hunt, grandchildren Jake Camp and Jaycee Isabella, and a brother Nelson Hunt. Survivors include his children Brent Hunt and Dee Ann Hunt Camp; grandchildren Derick Smith, Chris Camp, Samantha Camp, Grace Camp, and Gavin Hunt; great grandchild Adam Smith, and sister Gail Chambers. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 PM Sunday, December 23, 2018 in the chapel of Good Shepherd Funeral Home with Dr. Stephen Drake officiating.

Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 PM Sunday. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Barry Reed, Randy Stallings, Art Harris, Derick Smith, Chris Camp, Anthony Shortnacy, Steve Chambers, and Alan Chambers.

Adam Smith will serve as a junior pallbearer and honorary pallbearers will be members of the Floyd County Wildlife Association. Please visit our website www. goodshepherdfh.net to post memories and tributes.
