Barbara “Bobbi” Alice Capps, 84, passed away November 17, 2018 at 3:15 am in Westminster Village Health and Rehab. She was born April 14, 1934 to Chester and Genevieve Pounds Bridgewater in Terre Haute. Bobbi was a past member of the 8th Avenue Baptist Church.

She graduated from Garfield High School. She worked for more than 30 years at the AP&S clinic as a receptionist. She also had worked for the CIA as an administrator.

In her youth, she raced sports cars and won several trophies. She lived in Germany in the 1950s with her husband while he was stationed, during that time she was able to meet Elvis Presley. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Martin Lee Capps Jr. (m.

1950), and sisters; Sharon Lawson and Jeanette Jennings. She is survived by her son Marty Capps and his wife LeAnn, sisters; Patricia Jennings and Rita Carroll, and a grandson, Shane Capps. Cremation was chosen with private services.
