Barbara’s Obituary Barbara Ann Conner of Deer Park, Texas, a loving grandmother and mother, passed away on May 14, 2019 in Pasadena following a long illness. Barbara touched everyone in her life with her warmth and compassion, as well as her laughter, which made her someone that everyone enjoyed talking to. Barbara was a housewife for 54 years of marriage to Vaul Conner until his death in 2010.

After the passing of her husband she did not let grass grow under her feet. She soon moved back to Deer Park and began helping facilitate card games and domino games for all her new friends at The Providence Town Square. She loved her new friends and looked forward to each and every game event.

She literally went from being a housewife to a “party animal” overnight. She is preceded in death by her husband, Vaul Conner, father, Allen P. Lowe, mother, Leona Lowe and sister Joyce Gardner. She leaves behind her son, Wade Conner (wife) Sherry, daughter, Stacey Wilhite and son, Kyle Conner.

She further leaves behind grandchildren, Kaitlyn Conner, Ethan Conner, Jason Hickman, Emalie Baiwir and Jenny Mauricio. A special thank you goes to Kim Allen, Michelle Alexander and the staff at The Courtyards of Pasadena. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 17, 2019 at Chapel of Deer Park Funeral Directors, 336 E. San Augustine St., Deer Park, TX 77536.

Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 18, 2019 in the Chapel of Deer Park Funeral Directors, with Steve Fisk officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Cemetery (Bethany).
