Our loving mother Barbara Ann Martell Pack, passed quickly from this life on November 26, 2018. She was born May 22, 1936 to Wayne Isaac and Thelma Elizabeth Wright Martell in Payson, Utah. She, her sister Muriel and parents moved to Pleasant Grove, Utah where she resided the remainder of her life.

Barbara married her high school sweetheart, Ervin Eldon Pack, on October 15, 1953. They were blessed with 7 children, 41 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren. She was a mom and homemaker until going to work as a lunch lady later in life.

Ervin passed away in August of 2010 after which she filled her life with service. She was a service missionary at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter – Day Saints Bishops Storehouse for three years and served in the Mount Timpanogos Temple as a volunteer after being released from her mission. Family, neighbors and friends found it difficult to keep her supplied with family names for the temple.

She was known as one of the “Quilting Queens” for humanitarian work at the Grovecrest Villa’s where she lived. Most of all she loved serving individuals. We will miss you mom, love your children: Stanley (Kim), Kenneth (Marilyn), Sheryl (Michael) McLean, Shauna (Gordon) Johnson, Karen (Jeff) Allred, Kevin (Tracy) and Kimberly (Max) Alberts.

She has now been reunited with her eternal companion, grandson, Chad Pack, loving parents, sister, nephew, Richard Seeley, father and mother-in-law, Eldon and Eulala Pack and many more loved ones. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Timpanogos Stake Center Chapel, 800 North 100 West, Pleasant Grove. Family and friends may attend an evening viewing Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the stake center from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. prior to funeral services.

Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www. olpinmortuary.com.
