Barbara Frances Keane Gruosso, 83, wife of the late Alfred R. Gruosso, of Seneca, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at GHS Cottingham Hospice House. A native of Astoria, NY, Mrs. Gruosso was the daughter of the late Edward and Melissa Dushek Keane. She retired as a cashier from Food Town.

Mrs. Gruosso volunteered with Bookmobile of Oconee County and Senior Solutions of Oconee County. She was a very active member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, being a part of numerous groups and organizations. Mrs. Gruosso is survived by her son: Alfred Scott Gruosso of Seneca, SC; daughter: Diane Frances Moreno of Central, SC; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Gruosso was preceded in death by her daughter: Joanne Patricia Warren. A funeral mass will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, February 8, 2019, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 PM, Friday, prior to the service, at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.
