Annis “Elaine” Owens White, 70, wife of George A. White, of 505 Fowler Road, West Union, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019, at her home. A native of Seneca, SC, Mrs. White was the daughter of the late Pilgrim Owens and Mary Rogers Owens. She was a pharmacy technician and worked with Eckard’s Drug store for over 20 years.

Mrs. White was a devoted wife who loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She had a big heart and was very giving of herself to others. Mrs. White loved her church, the Keowee Church of God of Prophecy, where she was a member.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. White is survived by her sons: Phillip White of Walhalla, SC and Jason White of West Union, SC; daughter: Vicki Farr (Robby) of Little River, SC; brothers: Wayne Owens (Drenda) of Westminster, SC and Melvin Owens of Walhalla, SC; sister: Avis Moss of Seneca, SC; grandchildren: Kristina Brooks, Kala McAbee, Colby White, Bethany Farr, Austin White and Tyler White; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. White was preceded in death by her brother: Ralph Owens. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 17, 2019, at Keowee Church of God of Prophecy with entombment to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 PM, Sunday, prior to the service, at the church. Flowers are accepted. The family is at the home of Phillip White, 110 Country Acres Road, Walhalla, SC 29691.
