Lula Mae Young Looney, 93, wife of the late Charley Looney, formerly of Seneca, SC, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at Elderberry Healthcare in Marshall, NC. A native of Greenville, SC, Mrs. Looney was the daughter of the late Mary Elise and Samuel J. Young. She retired from J.P. Stevens.

Mrs. Looney was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Looney is survived by a son: Joseph Ballew; daughter: Gail B. Davis; grandchildren: Christopher P. Davis, Gerri Allison Davis and Amanda B. Wingard; great-grandchildren: Christopher Davis Jr., Lauren Davis, Alexander Davis, Artemis Blue Davis, Tyler Hunt, Garret Stevens and Cullen Hunt. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Looney was preceded in death by a sister: Mary Y. Johnson; and brother: Edwin J. Young.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Oconee Memorial Park in Seneca, SC. Flowers are accepted. The family is at their respective homes.
