Joyce Dean Watson King, 84, of Seneca, SC, died Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Park Place in Seneca. She was a longtime resident of Athens and Maryville and was a daughter of the late Johnnie, Jr. and Florence Whitaker Watson. She was also preceded in death by her husband John King, by sisters Reba Chisam and Jo Myers, a brother Rondal Watson.

She was a member of New Providence Presbyterian Church in Maryville and was an Accoutant with Proffitts for many years. She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Kelly Keylon of Smyrna, GA and Kevin and Tracy Keylon of West Union, SC; grandchildren, Heather, Grayson, Colin, Aliyah, Titus, and Tyler; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 pm, Tuesday, May 28, 2019 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Dr. Crawford A (Ford) King, III officiating.

Entombment will follow in McMinn Memory Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 11:30 am-1:30 pm prior to the service. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Joyce Dean Watson King please visit our Sympathy Store.
