Flora Louise Crowe McMahan, 79, wife of the late James C. McMahan, of 142 Circle M Farm Road, Salem, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019, at Oconee Memorial Hospital. A native of Salem, SC, Mrs. McMahan was the daughter of the late Ralph Thomas and Ila Eugenia Wilson Crowe. She retired from Sangamo with over twenty-five years of service as a quality inspector.

Mrs. McMahan loved flowers and cooking. She loved her family especially her grandchildren and was a beloved mother. Mrs. McMahan was a faithful Christian lady who enjoyed serving others.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and attended Golden Corner Church. Mrs. McMahan is survived by her son: James “Jimmy” R. McMahan (Gwen) of Salem, SC; daughter: Janice Overcash (Jeff) of Jackson, SC; sisters: Gerline Moss (Perry) of Salem, SC and Norma Baumgarner (Dennis) of West Union, SC; ten grandchildren: Courtney Black (Jake) of Walhalla, SC, Austin McMahan (Abby Crawford) of Charleston, SC, Spider Webb of Wyoming, Dillon Webb of New York, Andrea Burrell (James) of Salem, SC, Reneé Duncan (Brian), Travis Overcash (Melissa) of Aiken, SC, Jason Overcash (Stephanie) of Aiken, SC, Jessica Bowers (Blake) of Aiken and Whitney Rinder (Jeremy) of Aiken; seven great-grandchildren; and beloved companion for three years, her dog and four legged friend: Mia. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Monday, May 13, 2019, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM, Monday, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the DAR School, P.O. Box 8 Tamassee, SC 29686 or Emerson Rose Foundation, P.O. Box 935 Clemson, SC 29633. The family is at the home of Jimmy McMahan, 140 Circle M Farm Road, Salem, SC 29676.
