Annie Lou Posey, 86, wife of the late Beryl “Joe” Aubrey Posey, of 431 Cobb Bridge Road, Westminster, passed away Monday, May 20, 2019, at GHS Cottingham Hospice House. Her husband of 69 years, Joe Posey, passed away at the age of 87 on Friday, May 17, 2019, at GHS Cottingham Hospice House. A native of Oconee County, SC, Annie Lou was the daughter of the late Bert Evan and Minnie Lee Boggs Collins.

She retried from JP Stevens. Annie Lou was a member of Life Restoration Center. Annie Lou is survived by her daughters: Deborah Stone (Randy) and Wanda Allison; grandchildren: Glen Lindsey, Randy Lindsey (Dana), Autumn Priser (John) and Brian Stone (Amanda); great-grandchildren: Gage Lindsey, Taylor Stribling, Parker Lindsey, Hannah Lindsey, Joshua Priser, Bryson Stone and Brynlee Stone; and sister: Grace Duvall Harvey (Russell).

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Posey was preceded in death by her brother: Dale Evan Collins. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 23, 2019, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will be at Heritage Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM, Thursday, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oconee Hospice of the Foothills, GHS Cottingham Hospice House, Attn: Foundation Office, 298 Memorial Drive, Seneca, SC 29672.
