Glenn James, 69, husband of Nanette Bynum James, of 246 Fairfield Road, Walhalla, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019, at his home. A native of West Union, SC, Mr. James was the son of the late Alex James, Jr. and Janie Louise Crumpton James. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Schneider Electric.

Mr. James was a member of West Union Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Mr. James is survived by his step-son: William H. Ballenger III (Angela) of West Union, SC; step-daughters: Lynn Turpin (Jack) of West Union, SC and Monica Oliver (Mike) of West Union, SC; brother: Ronnie James (Debbie) of West Union, SC; sister: Glenda Keplar (Joseph) of West Union, SC; and grandchildren: Andrew, Ashleigh, Lindsay, Avery, Alex, Tyler and James. Graveside services will be held at Oconee Memorial Park.
