Obituary for Barbara Jean Jones (Patton) Jones, Barbara Jean, age 79, of Bellbrook, passed away Monday, July 9th, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born March 22nd, 1939 to Margaret (Mertens) and Floyd Patton. Barbara loved her family more than anything, especially her husband of 59 years, daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She also loved to collect doll babies, and had the largest selection to prove it. When Barbara was able to, you could find her either shopping, cooking or travelling to New Smyrna Beach, Florida where she loved to spend her time on the beach. Barbara also loved to watch Hallmark movies and reality t.v. shows, such as The Bachelor, Dancing with the Stars, and America’s Got Talent.
In her younger years she was a model for NCR and Frigidaire. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents. Barbara is survived by her husband Donald L Jones; daughter Pam (Mike) Conover; grandchildren Jenna (Adam) Green and Tanner Conover; great-grandchildren Rylan, Maddie and A.J. Green; sister Patty Wilson and brother Edward (Betty) Patton.
You are invited to attend Barbara’s Life Celebration, beginning with her visitation Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Conner & Koch Life Celebration Home from 10 am to 12 pm. Services will be held immediately after visitation with burial to follow at Bellbrook Cemetery. There will be a luncheon afterwards at Conner & Koch Life Celebration Home.
