Obituary for Barbara Myers Tucker Barbara Ann Myers Tucker, 56, of Scott Depot, passed away suddenly on April 25, 2018, at CAMC General. Barbara is finally free! She will be able to fly to her Lord Jesus Christ.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Tucker; and her parents, Betty and Justin Myers. Barbara is survived by her loving brother, David C. Myers and her two cherished nephews, Mitchell and Marshall Myers, as well as a host of other loving and memorable family relatives. Barb was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints-Teays Valley Ward and was loved and supported by her church family.

She ran her own business serving as a zealous advocate for Social Security disability clients. She was also a proud alumnus and supporter of Marshall University having obtained both her Bachelor’s and two Master’s degree at MU. Barb always had a quick wit, an easy smile and never let her disability get in the way of her joy for living, learning or her dare-devil adventures.

She loved the thrill of a new challenge as much as a stroll through the mall. She cherished her friends and family and will be greatly missed by those whose lives were enriched from her kindness. Visitation will be at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1068 Mount Vernon Road, Hurricane, WV 25526 Saturday, April 28, 2018, from 10-11am.

The funeral will be held immediately following visitation at 11am at the church. Interment to follow at Valley View Memorial Park, Hurricane, WV. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for missionary work and youth programs.
