Obituary for Andrew Lewis Grant Andrew Lewis Grant, 39 of Fraziers Bottom WV passed away on Thursday April 19, 2018 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington after a very long illness. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Betty Crist and paternal grandparents Pete and Pauline Grant. Andy was a 1997 graduate of Winfield High School, a lifelong employee of Giovanni’s Pizza, Winfield.
He enjoyed many things in life among them fishing, cooking, and playing his guitar along with quiet times at home with family. Andy was survived by his mother,, Connie Ranson(Rick) of Fraziers Bottom, father Cary Grant of Milton, his Gramps John Henry Crist(Thelma) of Fraziers Bottom, Stepsisters Mandy Shirley(Jeff) of So. Charleston, Cyndi Miller (Jake) of Culloden, nephew Rubin Shirley of So.
Charleston. He was survived by a vast extended family, The Grant’s and Crist’s. Among them he was particularly close to Shirley and Richard Jones and his best friend Herb Mullins.
Also his aunt and uncles, Jeannie Hedrick of Fraziers Bottom, Barbara Paxton of Scott Depot, Curtis Grant of Winfield, Keith Grant of Winfield, Mary Grant of South Charleston, Sharon Steele of Apple Grove, Gayle Chapman Fraziers Bottom, Ruth Ashley of Cottageville/Florida, Marsha Bostic of New Haven, Kyle Grant of Barboursville, Craig Grant of Fraziers Bottom, Shirley Keeling Jones, Frank Crist, and Virginia Sisson. It didn’t take much to make Andy happy, he was satisfied with the simplest things in life. He was truly surrounded by love.
Funeral Services for Andy will be 2:00pm Sunday at Chapman Funeral Home, Winfield with Rev. Ed Grant Officiating. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Gardens, Red House.
