Obituary for Janice Lee Curry Janice Lee Curry, 83, of Cross Lanes, went home to be with the Lord at CAMC Memorial on April 15th, 2018, with her loving family by her side. Janice graduated from Dunbar High School. She worked as a clerk for Bell Lines and retired from Associated Radiologist.

Janice was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Cora Means, sisters, Margaret Hammack, Betty (Childress) Murray, brothers Charles Means, Paul Means, daughter Mary (Curry) McMillion and granddaughter Kimberly (Shannon) Abner. Janice is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Samuel B. Curry, her children, Aura (Charles) Shannon of St Albans, Mark (Sandra) Curry of St.Albans, Patti (Curry) Dross of Charleston, son-in-law, Roger McMillion of Fort Mill, SC, and Susan (Mark) Wilcox of St. Albans.

Also surviving are eleven grandchildren Sarah, Brent, William, Tracey, J.R., A.J., Tyler, Katie, Kristen, Samantha, Walker and eleven great-grandchildren. Janice is also survived by sister Patricia (Carroll) Steele, sister-in-law’s Barbara Means and Fran Means, brother-in-law Roger (Linda) Curry of Cross Lanes, sister-in-law Sally Williams, and several nieces and nephews. As per Janice’s wishes, she will be cremated.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Wednesday, April, 18, 2018, at Bartlett-Chapman Funeral Home, St. Albans, with Rev. Jason Robbins officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm prior to the service.

The family would like to thank the staff at CAMC 4W, CAMC Open Heart Recovery Unit, Eastbrook Center, for their love and compassion while taking care of Janice, as well as the comfort and compassion that Rev.
