Obituary for Doug Swiger Doug Swiger, 71, of Winfield, formerly of Fairmont and Clarksburg, passed away April 21, 2018. Doug was born on January 11, 1947 to the late William and Louise Swiger in Clarksburg. He is also preceded in death by his brother Kenny Swiger.

He worked for Sears and Roebuck in Bridgeport and Fairmont WV for many years. He was also an avid fan of WVU sports and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Doug is survived by his sons Doug Swiger (Neda) of Eleanor and Dan Swiger (Shannon) of Melbourne FL; grandchildren, Haley and Logan of Eleanor, Brendan, Nathan and Jordan of Melbourne FL; brother Ronald Swiger (Karen) of Shreveport LA; niece and nephews, Lori Ann Swiger ,Ronnie Paul Swiger and Jeffery Swiger all of Shreveport LA.
