Obituary for Barbara Smoke LeBaron BARBARA SMOKE LEBARON, 91 of Airville, PA died on Thursday, October 4, 2018 in her home surrounded by loved ones. She was the beloved wife of the late Bruce B. LeBaron. Born on January 6, 1927 in Coudersport, PA, she was a daughter of the late George S. Smoke and Agnes Smoke Diksic.
Step-daughter of Frank Diksic. She is survived by: Her children and step-children: Cheryl Lynn Gleisner, wife of John Gleisner of Airville, PA Robert K. LeBaron, husband of Tracey LeBaron of Frederick, MD Diana L. Fowler, wife of Bradley Fowler of Hampstead, MD David LeBaron, husband of Carol LeBaron of Stillwater, OK Suzanne Golay of Branson, MO Her grandchildren: Devon, Kaitlyn, Claire and Jennifer LeBaron, Elizabeth and Jason Fowler, John Philip Gleisner (and wife Deborah) and Chrise Lynn Floyd (and husband Rich), Emily LeBaron Beers (and husband David), Ashley Knight (and husband Rusty) and David Williams. Her great-grandchildren; Shane and Easton Herald, Matthew, Samantha and Kevin Widenhouse, Jordyn, Jackie and Bradley Floyd, Nicole Eve Buck, Zen and Zella Beers, Maddox and Ava Harmon.
Her sister-in-law, Ann Smoke of Ormond Beach, FL and nephew, William B. Rowles And all the many others of her extended “family” but loved none the less. She was preceded in death by her brother, Stephen D. Smoke and her sister, Elizabeth Rowles. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 4 p.m. located at Churchville Presbyterian Church, 2844 Churchville Rd, Churchville, MD 21028.
Rev. Dr. Stephen R. Melton will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, her family would appreciate memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association, Maryland Chapter, 1850 York Road Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093 Inurnment services will be held in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
