Obituary for Beatrice J. Kerr Beloved mother and grandmother passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the Cartwright Hospice Residence. Age 85 years. The daughter of the late Harvey Krug and Gladys (Apley) Krug, Beatrice was born April 15, 1933 in Bad Axe, Michigan.

She was employed at the Collon Funeral Home & Real Estate Office for 21 years, Signature Bank in Bad Axe for seven years and retired as Deputy Treasurer of Huron County in 1997. Beatrice was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Saginaw. Beatrice enjoyed sewing, cooking and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandsons.

Surviving are one daughter, Kelle Matula, Freeland; precious and wonderful grandsons, Braddley R. Matula and Eric R. Matula; two sisters-in-law, Irene and Martha Krug, both of Bad Axe; several nieces and nephews. Beatrice was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters, Clifford, Floyd, Vern and, Jack Krug, Gladys June Ormsby, Doris Learman and Helen Minnick. Funeral service will take place 12:00 noon Monday, June 25, 2018 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd.

, (between Shattuck and McCarty). Pastor Joan Trim and Rev. Bill Trim will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
