Obituary for Jeanne Marie Swank Saginaw, Michigan Beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at St. Mary’s of Michigan Medical Center. Age 69 years. The daughter of the late Curtis and Mary Josephine (Maliszewski) Dartey, Jeanne was born on May 12, 1949 in Saginaw, Michigan.

She married Earl Swank November 23, 1968. He survives her. Jeanne served on the Saginaw City Council, Saginaw CAN Council and was a board member of STARS.

She loved hockey and coaching floor hockey at Stone School. Surviving besides her husband Earl are two sons and one daughter, Matthew Swank, Shane Swank and Alissa Swank; three grandchildren, Miranda, Riley and Charlotte Swank-Mendyk; her siblings, Dean, Annette, Darrell, Duane, David Dartey, Lisa (Curt Sauvage) Atkinson; her sister-in-law, Linda Foutch; several nieces and nephews. Jeanne was preceded in death by her sister, Vicki Lynn Dartey and her nephew, Cory Dartey.

Honoring Mrs. Swank’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place at 12:00 Noon on Friday, June 22, 2018 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. , (between Shattuck and McCarty).

Pastoral Associate Tori Little will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home where the family will be present on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Saginaw CAN Council.
