Obituary for Mary F. Ward Loving mother and grandmother passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at New Hope Valley Assisted Living. Age 90 years. Daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Sauve) Sova, Mary was born May 19, 1928 in Saginaw, Michigan.

She was married to James C. Ward, her loving husband of 67 years, on April 15, 1950. He predeceased her March 8, 2018. Mary and Jim owned and operated Ward Outdoor Advertising.

They were members of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish. Mary enjoyed gardening, bowling, camping and wintering in Florida. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Surviving to cherish her memory are two sons and their spouses, David and Gayle Ward, Saginaw; James and Janice Ward, Saginaw; four grandchildren, Stacy (Chad) Schuette, Kelly (William) Green, Mindy (Kenneth) Haller, Brian Ward; five great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Alex, Abigail, Tanner and Easton; her sister, Margaret Hammis; several nieces and nephews. Honoring Mrs. Ward’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd.

Ronald Wagner will officiate. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Christ the Good Shepherd Parish.
