Obituary for Larry James Korbein It is with great sadness that the family of Larry James Korbein announces his passing on May 10, 2018, age 64, following a brief illness. The son of Mary Ann (Light) Korbein and the late Elden (Korky) Korbein, Larry was born February 3, 1954 in Saginaw, Michigan. He graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1972 and began his career as a mechanic.

He married Pamela Kay Sieggreen on July 5, 1975. They relocated to Skokie, Illinois in 1980 and started a family. Larry was employed by Timber Lanes until May 2016 when he retired and moved with his wife to Las Vegas.

He loved to fish and hunt with his son Brian. He also enjoyed spending time with his grand-dogs, Mojo and Lucy. Larry will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 42 years, Pamela; his daughter, Jeanette Korbein-Howell, Las Vegas; one son, Brian Korbein, Northlake, Illinois; his mother, Mary Ann Korbein, Saginaw; five sisters, Vicki (Michael) Mikolajski, Saginaw; Dian (Michael) Dillion, Elkart, Indiana; Tracy (Chris) DeShone, Saginaw; Kelly Rodgers, Port Orchard, Washington; Holly (Steven) Frieders, Bay City; brothers-in-law, Larry Sieggreen, Newberry; Mark (Mary) Siegreen, Saginaw; sisters-in-law, Renee Sieggreen, Midland; Dawn (Ron) Pool, Saginaw; Cindy (Marc) Fitzgerald, Freeland; several nieces and nephews.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Elden (Korky) Korbein, Larry’s father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald and Lorraine Sieggreen, a son-in-law, Mark Howell and by a brother-in-law, Jeffrey Sieggreen. A Memorial Service will take place 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 5335 Brockway, Saginaw, Michigan. Pastor Paul Biber will officiate.
