Ben Lee Bills March 21, 1956 – January 14, 2019 Share this obituary Local Florists Send Sympathy Gifts View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card Ben Lee Bills, age 62 of Comins, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 13, 2019. Ben was born in Mio, Michigan on March 21, 1956 to Richard and Nancy (Summersett) Bills. He graduated from Fairview High School with the Class of 1974.

He worked as a sawyer in local saw mills. Ben enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, trapping, gardening, and fruit trees. He will be remembered as always being there for a friend, and for putting others’ needs before his own.

Ben is survived by his wife Sandra Bills; his parents: Richard and Nancy Bills; his children: Billie Jean (Jay) Bills; and Gregory Todd (Buffy) Bills; his brothers: Rick (Anita) Bills; Bob (Manvella) Bills; Jeff (Lisa) Bills; Tim (Ellyn) Bills; and Jason (Christal) Bills; his sisters: Terry (Bob) Bills-Sundberg; Dawn (Ivor) Thayer; Debbie (John) Gusler; and Rexann (Jason) Chischilly; his grandchildren: Cullen & Jessica Durfee, and Kyla & Jacob Durfee; his sisters-in-law: Gwen Mallett, Donita (Henry) Charron, and Judy (Mike) Rouleau; and many nieces and nephews. Ben was preceded in death by his brother Gregory Bills, and his in-laws: Ardith and Don Crowell. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 2 PM at the Comins Eagles Hall, Comins, Michigan, officiated by Pastor Cody Gascho. Memorial donations may be made to Comins Eagles or to Praxis Church. Arrangerments by Lashley Funeral Home, Mio, MI.
