Obituary February 27, 1948 – January 15, 2019 Bernard Earl Andrews, 70, of Big Cove community passed away January 15, 2019, after a 14-month battle with brain cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Albert Andrews and Ethel Wakefield Andrews. He was a Bible major graduate of Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee, and was a minister of the church of Christ for over 50 years, a devoted husband, and a great friend to all.

He owned Big Cove Mini-Storage and Andrews Model A’s for about 37 years. He will be truly missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Ann Andrews, special friend Robby Chandler, three sisters, Doris Newman, Jimmie Newman, and Mary Milam; two brothers, James Andrews and Dale Andrews (Jan); sister-in-law Dorothy Harris (Jim) and Anna Sillavan; mother-in-law Mattie Paseur, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

A special thank you to Hospice Family Care. Visitation will be Thursday, January 17, 2019, at New Hope Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral will be Friday at New Hope Funeral Home at 3:00 P.M. Dale Everette Andrews officiating. Burial will be in the Campground Cemetery in Big Cove.
