Bernice Helen Bryant November 14, 1925 – February 11, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook Mrs. Bernice Helen Bryant, age 93 of Hodge entered into the heavenly gates, Monday, February 11, 2019. She was known by all for her loving and caring personality and everyone knew she was going to welcome them with a kiss. She will forever be remembered as the perfect picture of a Proverbs 31 woman, always putting everyone else ahead of herself.

Those left to cherish her memory is her son in law, Donnie Cooper; grandchildren, Marty Cooper (Janet), Michael Cooper (Denise), Donna Gates (William “Bubba”); 6 great grandchildren; 6 step great grandchildren; a host of great-great grandchildren; 2 nieces, a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Bryant; daughter, Helen Marie (Bryant) Cooper; great grandson, Jon Cooper; parents, Elisah Thomas and Cora Della (Powers) Childs; 5 siblings. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Edmonds Chapel from 12:00-2:00PM.

Funeral services will follow at 2:00PM in the chapel with Reverend Yancy Martin officiating. Interment will take place in Fellowship Cemetery in Quitman under the direction of Edmonds Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be Marty Cooper, Michael Cooper, Sean Cooper, Brandon Gates, Wesley Gates.
