Obituary for Bessie Blanas Bessie B. Blanas, 99, of Northbrook, died peacefully May 15, 2018. Beloved wife of the late George; loving mother of Steve (Maryann), Dean (Roseann) and the late Michael (Jan); Yía Yía was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was a devoted Cubs fan; she enjoyed a long life surrounded by loved ones.

Visitation will be will be held Saturday, May 19 from 9 am until time of Funeral service 10 am at SS Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 1401 Wagner Road, Glenview, IL 60025. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to SS Peter & Paul Greek Orthodox Church or the American Heart Association, 208 S. LaSalle, Suite 1500, Chicago, IL 60604.
