Betty L. Hesley 89, of Hollidaysburg, went home to be with the Lord Monday, February 25, 2019 at Maybrook Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center following a brief illness. Betty was born on December 10, 1929 in Hollidaysburg daughter of the late Raymond and Emma (Spencer) Downing. She married William Hesley on December 12, 1953 at the St. John’s Reformed Church in Hollidaysburg and he preceded her in death on September 4, 2005.

Surviving are three sons- Ken, Scott, and Keith; a granddaughter- Tara Hesley (Brian), and a great granddaughter- Trysta Price. Betty was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 4 sisters. She was a 1947 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and she worked as a sales clerk at the former Treese’s Drug Store.

Betty enjoyed working crossword puzzles and watching movies. At Betty’s request there will not be a viewing or funeral service. Interment will take place in Alto Reste Park Cemetery.
