Obituary for Betty Jo Hart Betty Jo Hart, 80, of Texarkana, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at her home. She was born October 23, 1938, in Palmyra, Arkansas, daughter of the late Sam D. and Ellen Mae McBryde Owen. She received her early education in Palmyra and graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1956.

Betty Jo married Glen Woodford “G.W.” Hart on October 12, 1956, in Pine Bluff and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glen Woodford “G.W.” Hart, whom passed away November 30, 2012; a brother, Doyle Owen; and a sister, Martha Ann Hart.

Survivors include a daughter, Sondra O. Clark of McKinney, Texas; a son, Glen W. “Butch” Hart, II and his wife, Sandra, of Texarkana, Texas; grandchildren, Spenser Hart, Jerred McCormick, Maegan Lewis, Glen W. “Trey” Hart, III, Ethan Hart and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, November 30, 2018, 6:00 – 8:00 PM , at Robinson’s. Graveside service by Ralph Robinson & Son will be Saturday, December 1, 2018, at 10:00 AM, at Roselawn Cemetery, with Reverend Todd Howard officiating.
