Obituary for Betty June Pierce Shuff Betty June Pierce Shuff, 94 of White Oak, formerly of Connellsville and Port Vue died Wednesday October 31, 2018 in UPMC McKeesport Hospital. She was born June 1, 1924 in Maryland a daughter of the late Ernest and Mary Bucci Pierce. Mrs. Shuff was a graduate of Connellsville High School and she was employed for 25 years at McKeesport Hospital.

She attended the Wesley United Methodist Church in Connellsville and All Souls Episcopal Church in N. Versailles. She is survived by three daughters, Dolores Smith of Olympia, WA. , Mary Ellen Dell and her husband Jim of Youngwood and Sandi Zimmerman of N. Huntingdon; 8 grandchildren, John Paul Holden of Athens, GA.

, Ted Holden and his wife Allyson of Brass Valley, CA. , Tom Dell of Appleton, WI. , Barb Dell of Youngwood, Michael Shuff of Republic, Ryan Shuff and his wife Heather of Republic, Jeff Zimmerman and his wife Shannon of N. Huntingdon and Jason Zimmerman of N. Versailles; 9 great grandchildren, Jessica Holden and her husband Ryan Noonan, Michael Holden,Tristan Shuff, Kendall Shuff, Andrew Shuff, Lyric Shuff, Sarah Holden, Kylee Zimmerman and Ava Zimmerman and one great great grandchild, Blayden Wheatley.

Mrs. Shuff was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Adnire Paul Shuff; son, Robert Shuff; brother Ralph Pierce and sisters, Louise Bradmon, Rita Bradmon, Dorothy Morris and Vernice Higgins. Friends will be received in the Brooks Funeral Home, Inc., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville on Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M., the hour of services with Patty McDowell officiating.
