Betty L. Green, 89, of Brightview Westminster Ridge, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Carroll Hospital Center. Born in Hanover, Pennsylvania, February 22, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Pauline (Newcomer) Legore. She was the wife of the late Norman Green who predeceased her in 2005.

Betty was a member of Westminster High School class of 1947. Betty worked as a telephone operator for C&P Telephone. She was a member of The Telephone Pioneers.

She loved reading… Read More » and volunteered at the Westminster branch of the Carroll County Public Library. She was a member of Sandymount United Methodist Church. Surviving her are her daughter Brenda Conaway and her husband Paul of Finksburg, and her siblings Alice Marshall and Glen Legore; and granddaughter Amy Conaway DeVries and her husband Dan; and great-granddaughter Ana DeVries.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Helen Black, Howard Legore, Donald Legore, Catherine Heltibridle, Dorothy Sanders & Gloria Noble. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 15, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster. Funeral services will be Monday, April, 16th,2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev.

Robert Wellman, her pastor at Sandymount United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg.
