Norma Ella Cobourn, 94, of Westminster passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Carroll Lutheran Village Healthcare Center. Born September 23, 1923, in Granite, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Charlotte (Day) Walton. She was the loving wife of the late Franklin C. Cobourn, who predeceased her in 1995.

She sang in church choirs, played piano for children’s choir, and was active in the United Methodist Women all her life. She enjoyed square dancing, camping, travel, and bridge. Norma was a resident of Carroll Lutheran Village for over 25 years, where she volunteered many hours in music and resident activities.

Surviving are her children Stephen F. Cobourn of Hobart, Oklahoma, Ralph G. and wife Lyane Cobourn of Cape Coral, Florida, Charlotte and husband Steven C. Young of Westminster; 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her three brothers and her son Harold M. Cobourn. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Rd.

, Westminster. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 11 am at Krug Chapel of Carroll Lutheran Village, 300 St. Luke Circle, Westminster, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Rev.

Jimmie Schwartz, Carroll Lutheran Village Chaplain, will be officiating. Interment will be held in Lakeview Memorial Park, Sykesville.
