George Walter Holland, 88, of Westminster, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Carroll Hospice Dove House. Born on December 23, 1929 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late George W. and Dora M. (Johnson) Holland. He was the loving husband of Elizabeth G. (Whitestone) Holland, his wife of 67 years.

George was a teamster truck driver for over 30 years. He loved watching football and coaching baseball, but above all he cherished his time with his family. Holland and wife Beth of New Windsor; his 4 grandchildren: Wayne, Shawn, Christine and Braden; 2 step-granddaughters Morgan and Leah; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, George was predeceased by his siblings Charles W. Holland, Eva Brizindine and Dora Holland. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 29 from 5pm to 8 pm at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd. , Westminster.

A service will be held on Saturday at 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment will be in private. Memorial contributions may be made to Carroll Hospice Dove House, 292 Stoner Ave.
