Ruth Frances Darby, 89, of Sykesville, died Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the Dove House. Born December 12, 1928 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Lillian Evans Perry and Frank Eugene Perry. She was the wife of the late Frank Joseph Darby.

Before retiring she worked in Retail. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, crafting and most of all spending time with her loving family. Survived by 7 children Donald Darby and wife Debbi of Sykesville, Thomas Darby of Sykesville, John Darby and wife Marie of Middle River, Michael Darby of Baltimore, Ruth Ann Darby of Pittsville, James Darby and wife Kristin of Manchester, Susan Williamson and husband Walter of Hampstead.

Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Frank Darby, Jr. and granddaughter Stacey Watson. Memorial contributions may be made to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.
