Marion “Me-mom” Nora Speier-Carmichael, 74, formerly of Westminster, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 peacefully with her daughter Karyn and niece Sheri by her side. Marion was born on June 18, 1944 in Philadelphia, PA and was the daughter of the late Charles L. and Nora L. Holden. Twice married, she was the wife of the late Joseph A. Speier, and the late Graham Carmichael.

Her biggest joy in life was spending time with her family and friends at the PUB and sitting on her couch with her 2 dogs, and drinking wine. Surviving Marion are children Karyn N. Baust and fiancé Scott M. Eberts of Westminster, Joseph C. Speier of Hanover, PA; grandchildren Holly Boger and husband Jared and Thomas (TJ) Baust and fiancée Allison; great-grandchildren Chase and Tenleigh Boger; nieces Sheri (Matt) Lyttle and their furry companion Larry, who became Marion’s service dog, Patti- Anne, Eileen (Frank); nephews Richard, Robert (Kathy), David, and Billy (Karen); step-daughter Yvonne (Craig) of Scotland, UK; and step-grandchildren Jacob and Patrick. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was predeceased by brothers Robert Holden and Charles L. Holden, Jr. The family will welcome friends on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Rd.
