Obituary for Betty Lou Little (Nelson) Betty Lou Nelson Little, 81, of Corry and formerly of Norcross Road, passed away peacefully on Saturday April 28, 2018 at UPMC Hamot, She was born in Erie on November 12, 1936 a daughter of the late William and Media Weldon Nelson. Betty was a 1955 graduate of North East High School and received further medical training while serving in the United States Air Force. She worked for 17 years at Fryling Manufacturing and went on to work as a nurse with Independence Home Nursing.

She enjoyed mowing the lawn, gardening, and sitting on the back porch watching the birds. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, William and John Nelson; and one sister, Lois Bala. Survivors include her husband, Gerald Little; one son, Terry Lee Richard and his wife, Karen, of Clymer, NY; two grandchildren, Jordan and Jacob Richard; one brother, Garold Silvis and his wife, Toni, of Missouri; two sisters, Freda Karmazin of Erie and Kathryn Teed of Clymer, NY; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd. , on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to services there on Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m.. Burial will follow in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
