Betty Lou Roberts, age 83 New Castle resident passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. She was born January 20, 1935 in New Castle a daughter of the late William and Dollie Mae Greer Welsh. She was a graduate of New Castle High School and had worked for several Corporations in central Indiana, including Modernfold Industries of New Castle and Western Electric in Indianapolis, Indiana.

She will be remembered as an excellent cook and especially loved cooking for her family. Left to cherish her loving memory include three sons: Rodney Sewell and his wife Cheryl of Muncie, Indiana, Brent A. Sewell of Indianapolis, Indiana and Chan B. Roberts and his wife, Linda of New Castle, Indiana; four grandchildren,: Chandler Roberts II and his wife, Megan of Knightstown, Indiana, Gabriel Sewell of Carmel, Indiana, Michelle Hagerty and her husband, Todd of Alabama and Brooke Turner of New Castle, Indiana; seven great grandchildren: Maverick K. Roberts of Knightstown, Kasen Jessup, Zavier Sanders, Ava Loveless, Fenton Loveless, Megan Hagerty and Trinity Hagerty; one brother, Jackie Welsh and his wife, Barbara, also many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Rick Sewell; one brother, Junior Welsh and one sister Evelyn Sigo. Visitation will be held on Monday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Macer-Hall Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Macer-Hall Funeral Home and Cremation service with Rev.
