Kathy M. (Wissler) Wasson, 60, of Stuart, FL, and formerly of New Lisbon, IN, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer on Friday, October 19, 2018 in Florida. Kathy was born on August 4, 1958 in Springfield, MA, the daughter of Linda Greenwell and the late Jack E. Wissler. Kathy was a 1976 graduate from New Castle High School.

Mark… Read More » Wasson (Cresta); a daughter, Kelli Wasson (DJ); her mother, Linda Greenwell; a sister, Sandy Smith (Rick); a brother, Chris Wissler; a step-sister, Lori Wortham; grandchildren, Madison Wilson-York, Landee Wasson, Sophia Wasson, Trinity Harmon and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack E. Wissler, her step-father, Robert P. Greenwell and her grandparents Carl & Jeanette Wissler and Jack & Pearl Bruton.

Kathy was a loving mother and daughter and will be deeply missed by her family and those having the privilege of knowing her. Her family takes comfort in knowing they will meet again. Per the request of the family, private services will be held for the family only.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society www. cancer.org or to help rescue dogs at The Sato Project www. thesatoproject.org/donate.
