Obituary for Betty McFarland (Koster) Betty Lou McFarland, 81, Maryville, Missouri died on March 27, 2018, at Mosaic Life Care, Saint Joseph, Missouri. She was born January 22, 1937 in Yuma, AZ , to the late Burnie and Willie (Cooper) Koster. She spent her early years in St. Louis, MO and later moved to Peach Orchard, AR.

She graduated from Knobel High in Knobel, AR. in 1955 where she was the salutatorian of her graduating class. She graduated from Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, with her LPN degree in 1984.

She married Byron G. McFarland on Janary 21, 1955 in Knobel, AR. and divorced many years later. She moved to Gardner, KS in 1986 and returned to the Maryville area in 1999, after retiring.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, 2 brothers, a grandson, and 2 granddaugters. Surviving are her children: Patricia (Mike) Wyatt, Maryville, Marcia Ellen (Terry) Ladoge, Louisburg, KS, Bradley McFarland, Saint Joseph, and Cammi (Rob) Zimmerman, Maryville, 10 grandchildren and 9 greatgrandchildren. She will be missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the Price Funeral Home, Maryville with a visitation from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM prior to the service. Inurnment will be at a later date at the Ohio Cemetery, Burlington Jct. , MO.
