Obituary for Sr. Maryellen Riley Sr. Maryellen Riley 1927-2018 Sr. Maryellen Riley 90, passed away on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Our Lady of Rickenbach Benedictine Convent of Perpetual Adoration in Clyde, Missouri. Sr. Maryellen was born on April 8, 1927 in Washington, DC to John J. and Veronica A. (Wimber) Riley. She was a graduate of the Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School attended the Art School of Philadelphia.

She entered the Sister of Perpetual Adoration on February 2, 1950. She made her first profession of vows on February 10, 1952 and was given the name Sister Maryellen Riley, and her final profession of vows on August 1, 1957. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, John, Dennis and James Riley.

She is survived by her Monastic family, one sister, Jane F. Bowling and many nieces and nephews. Wake will be held at 7pm Monday, March 5th at Our Lady of Rickenbach, Clyde, Missouri. Mass of Christian Burial 8:30am, Tuesday, March 6th at the Monastery Chapel.
