Obituary for Paul Tobin PAUL TOBIN 1960 – 2018 Paul Tobin, 57, Maryville, died Monday, April 9, 2018 in Mound City, MO. He was born in Maryville, MO on April 20, 1960, the son of John and Carlotta Tobin. Paul was a 1978 graduate of West Nodaway R-1 High School in Burlington Jct.

, MO. He was named to the Honor Roll and lettered in football, basketball, and track & field. He made All Conference Half Back and 1A All-State 2nd Defensive Team in football.

He grew up on and helped work the family farm in Burlington Jct. He enjoyed having pets throughout his life. Paul was an avid KC Chiefs and KC Royals fan.

He has worked in construction for the last 35 years. He managed construction teams and traveled around the country to worksites. Paul managed the remodel of the church at the Monastery in Clyde, MO a few years ago.

He was currently employed by Myler, managing a team remodeling a church in Mound City, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include five sisters and brothers, Jana Motes, Olathe KS, Kieran Tobin, Sandia TX, Marli Tobin, Chicago IL, Susan Tobin, New York City NY, and Mark Tobin, Atlanta GA.

; 4 nieces and nephews; and a great-niece and nephew. Other survivors include aunts and uncles, Kelly and Irene Tobin, Ames IA, Mary Mahr, Mission KS, and Father Chuck Tobin, Conception MO. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 14, 2018, at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church, Maryville, with burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Maryville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials made in Paul’s name to New Nodaway Humane Society would be appreciated. Their address is 829 S. Depot St., Maryville, MO 64468. Arrangements are under the direction of Price Funeral Home, Maryville.
