Betty Mae Prettie, of Sheboygan, passed away late Thursday evening, May 17, 2018 at the Sheboygan Progressive Care Center. She was 89 years old. Betty was born May 15, 1929 in Sheboygan, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (nee Diener) Sitzman.

In December of 1966, she was united in marriage with Max R. Prettie. He preceded her in death in 2003. Betty was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.

She is further survived by step-grandchildren, brother Robert (Marilyn) Sitzman of Hartford, WI, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Max and her brother Jerry Sitzman.

According to Betty’s wishes, private family services will be held.
