Betty Ruth Stephens, 88, of Terre Haute passed away on Sunday October 14, 2018 at 3:15 am in Westminster Village. She was born July 15, 1930 in Terre Haute to Virgil Clark and Bertha (Pressley) Clark. Betty is survived by sons, William Stephens, Jr. of Robinson, IL and Michael Stephens (Debbi) of Terre Haute; sisters, Vera Holley of Columbus, IN, Wanda Fraley of Jeffersonville, and Cheryl Keegan of Loveland, CO; a brother, David Clark (Kay) of Freedom, IN; grandchildren, Teresa Shephard (Jim), Eric Stephens, Kevin Stephens (Jennifer), Craig Stephens (Christine), and James Stephens (friend, Pam); several great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, special nephews, Bobby, Jeff, and Mike and a good friend Kenneth Bare.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, William F. Stephens, who died November 2008, a son, Dwight Stephens who died in 1973, and brothers, Floyd Clark and Dale Clark. She was a member of Oak Hill Community Church. Visitation will be Thursday October 18, 2018 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm in DeBaun Springhill Chapel with funeral services at 2:00 pm in the funeral home with Pastor Tim Fagg officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that for those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice of the Wabash Valley. Online condolences may be left at www.
