Linda Mae Jenkins, 78, passed away October 2, 2018 in Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She was born to Arthur Edward Hargis and Gladis Fulmer Hargis on November 2, 1939 in Indiana. She retired from Bemis Company after 35 years.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Robert E. Hargis, and her husband Joesph C. Jenkins in March of 2017. She is survived by her sister Debi Hamblet (Craig) and sister in law, Lynn Hargis (Lorey). Linda and Joe had five children together; Tammy Jenkins Nease, Joseph Jenkins Jr., Randy Jenkins, Lori Jenkins Gregory (David), Nancy Jenkins Smith (Kevin).

She is blessed with 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson. Linda loved going camping and taking drives along the countryside eating an ice cream cone. She also enjoyed going to the horse barns.

Linda was always known for making popcorn balls for her children school parties at Deming Elementary. Everyone loved her no bake cookies and reese cups. Linda always watched wheel of fortune, she loved that show along with shopping and going out to eat.

She always enjoyed watching fireworks, and airplanes take off and land. She also loved playing euchre with her grandkids. Services for Linda will be at 2 pm on Monday October 8, 2018 in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804.
