Betty Brown, age 87, of Cave City, passed away, Sunday, June 10, 2018. She was born on June 2, 1931 in Blytheville, Arkansas the daughter of, Henry Young and Bertha Bryeans Young. She was preceded in death by both parents; one son, Jeffery Dale Redden; and ten brothers and sisters.

She was a Methodist by faith. An extremely talented seamstress, the barbie doll clothing she sewed brought delight to many happy children. Family was of utmost importance to her.

She will be greatly missed. Betty is survived by her husband, Gerald Brown of Hot Springs; son and daughter-in-law Don and Nancy Redden of Cave City; four grandchildren and their spouses, Stephen Redden (Jessica) of Paragould; Kyle Redden (Shantelle) of Walnut Ridge; Emily Coleman (Randy) of Jonesboro; and Matthew Redden (Haley) of Blytheville; five great-grandchildren, Beckett Redden, Ellie Smith, Lexington Redden, Campbell Coleman, and McKenley Coleman, as well as many nieces nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 13, 2018, in the Davis-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Hot Springs, with Reverend Scott Gallimore officiating.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Interment will be in the Crestview Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her family.
