Beulah’s Obituary Beulah Leeann Maher, 59, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Monroe Manor Nursing Home of Jay, OK. She was born on July 24, 1959 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to her parents, Arthur Calvin Scott and Mary Barbara Ann Starr-Scott. Leeann loved to crochet, collect antiques, glass birds, trinkets, and shopping for great sales.

Leeann worked in various capacities as a Professional Addictions Counselor for over 13 years. She was never hesitant to take on difficult clients. She was very open about attending NA Meetings, counseling, and sponsoring whoever she could be of help to and be there for them during a lifelong commitment in their lives.

Leeann always put her daughter Heather first in her life. She was a proud mom that invested her heart, soul, and support into Heather’s education and was very proud of her successful accomplishments. Leeann is preceded in death by her dad, Arthur Calvin Scott; 2 brothers, Kevin Grant Scott and Calvin Jay Scott.

She is survived by her daughter, Heather Maher of Jay, OK; mom, Mary Barbara Ann-Scott; aunt, Sally Lafayette of Carrollton, TX; sister-in-law, Rhonda Scott of Medicine Lodge, KS; nephew, Justin Ray Scott of Cleveland, OK; 2 nieces, Blayze Amber Starr Scott of Medicine, Lodge, KS and Phinn Scott of Medicine Lodge, KS; great-nephew, Jordan Scott of Tahlequah, OK; numerous cousins, extended family and friends. Leeann’s family will have a Private Family Memorial Funeral Service at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray St., Jay, OK 74346 with Shaunda J. Lawson, 3rd Generation Owner/Funeral Director and Staff.
