Obituary for Mrs. Beverly ‘Big Momma’ Dill Funeral services for Mrs. Beverly ‘Big Momma’ Anthony Dill, 79, of Anniston, will be on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 3:00pm in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home. Rev. Henry Gibson and Rev.

Clinton Busler will be officiating. Burial will follow the service at Eulaton United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Dill passed away on April 18, 2018. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her four daughters, Brenda Young (Flavis), Sharon Ramey (Tim), Karen Hanson (Rickey), and Linda Busler (Joel); grandchildren, Beth Brantley, Courtney Gardner (Jason), Katie Vargas (Rey), Anna Vice (Nelson), Brittni Marable (John); great grandchildren, Riley Owen, Zoe Brantley, Maddy Gardner, Gage Gardner, Ridge Marable, and a host of extended family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Dill; parents, Virgil and Elizabeth Anthony and brothers, Wesley Anthony and Scotty Anthony.

Pallbearers will be Jason Gardner, Rey Vargas, Nelson Vice, John Marable, Allan Chadwick, David Chadwick and Devin Womack. Big Momma was a member at Eulaton United Methodist Church for over 35 years. She was very active in the church and sang in the choir until her health did not allow her to attend anymore.

She was a nurse at Regional Medical Center and the Sobra Care Coordinator at the Calhoun County Health Department. Big Momma was very active in her children and grandchildren’s lives, never missing an activity they may have had. She was a mother to many and affectionately known as Momma Dill.

She was quoted as saying, “Legacies that you leave behind are the memories that will carry on with us for the rest of our lives. Don’t take the small things for granted, cherish those who cherish you. Love hard and forgive often because at the end of the day family is the most important thing life gives you”.
