Obituary for Beverly Kolter Kolter, Beverly M., Age 67, of Louisville, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018. She was born on September 12, 1950 to the late Marshall E. and Florence S. Miller. Bev was a retired teacher.

She taught at Male High School for many years. She was a long time member of Southeast Christian Church. Bev was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Ever the sociable person, Bev counted many, many people among her friends. She could always be counted on to fill a room with conversation. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, John V. Kolter; daughter, Virginia Kersting (Mark); and son, John David Kolter ( Emily Cash).

She was affectionately known as “Grammy” to five grandchildren, Matthew and Julia Kersting, and Ayden, Lily Grace, and John Everett Kolter. She is also survived by several cousins. Funeral Services will be at 1:30 PM on Friday, April 20 at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.

Louisville, KY 40205 with burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 – 8 PM on Thursday, April 19 at Highlands. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Crusade for Children.
